About Me
Welcome. I look forward to getting to know you and your child.
I have been in the field of education since 2007. Here are some of the roles I’ve had in that time:
Education Specialist in both the classroom and resource settings, where I provided differentiated instruction in reading, writing and math.
Case-manager for a wide range of students, with extensive experience writing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), 504 Plans, and Student Support Plans.
Academic Dean of a Bay Area high school where I created, implemented and oversaw a whole-school reading intervention program, and trained and coached teachers in best practices for supporting students in academic, executive functioning and behavioral skills.
Assistant Principal of a Los Angeles middle school where I coached new and veteran teachers, oversaw the Special Education Department and led professional development for staff.
Parent navigating each of my own children's unique needs and challenges, drawing on my experience as an educator to find the best services available.
In 2020, I spent the year homeschooling my three young children. While my own children are back to in-person learning in their school environment, the opportunity to work one-on-one and in small groups inspired me to return to school to receive my Post Master's Educational Therapist Certificate.
I strongly believe that comprehensive support can and should be accessible to all students and families.

I love to spend time camping with my husband and three kids; teaching family and friends how to surf; hiking; horseback riding; testing new recipes; and reading.
